The cutover to the new server seems to have gone smoothly. Looking at the server logs on the old server this morning, I saw that the only traffic I’ve had on the old server was the AskJeeves crawler.

Which is a good thing since it seems to not have come back from rebooting after I installed an updated kernel earlier this morning.

I’ll have more Risk Management thinking goodness in the week ahead, but it’s tough to say exactly when it will appear due to a some unexpeted upheavals in my schedule. I’m not complaining since it’s all Good Stuff, but it would have been nicer if I were leaving Chicago during winter to do it, rather than now when the weather is getting really good.

Oh, well. As I always say when I conclude my whining, “There are worse problems to have.”
